Procedure for submitting conditioned media for mycoplasma testing:

You should collect 1ml of conditioned media on the third day after plating.  Put the media in an Eppendorf tube and freeze at  -20C.  Lixin, who does the testing, has a box in the -20C freezer#1 in the Janes Lab MR5-2225 for the samples.  Be sure to label your tube(s) with date/cell-type/lab-name plus any other distinguishing information.  Please email Lixin lw8fb@virginia.edu your sample names as they are labelled.
